How can I make a business opportunity look credible before the first conversation?
I am preparing to present a business opportunity and want serious buyers or investors to feel confident before they send a first message. What information should be clear without exposing sensitive details?

A credible opportunity explains what the business does, how revenue is generated, who the customers are, why the owner is exploring a transaction, what documents exist, and what the next step looks like. It does not need to reveal everything publicly, but it should reduce basic uncertainty.
I look for consistency. If the title says high-growth investment but the description gives no traction, no use of funds, and no numbers, I ignore it. Specific but controlled information builds trust.
As a seller, I would rather give enough detail to attract serious people than keep everything vague and receive low-quality messages. Clarity saves time.
